Whānau Ora Navigator - Kaitūwhana (20 hours per week)
We are looking for a Whānau Ora Navigator - Kaitūwhana for a part time contract of 20 hours per week commencing as soon as possible.
Whānau Ora Navigator - Kaitūwhana acts as a connector, advocate, and coach, guiding whānau to navigate pathways in health, housing, education, employment, and wellbeing, while reinforcing their tino rangatiratanga and whakapapa links to mana whenua, hapū, and whenua.
This role is pivotal in connecting whānau with their communities, and to awhi and tautoko them to improve their overall circumstances.
Key responsibilities are:
· Competent in whānau assessments, planning, navigation and advocacy
· Assisting whānau to develop plans for their current and future needs
· Risk management and crisis response
· Facilitating access to resources
· Providing tailored support and guidance
· Upholding cultural values to promote holistic well being
The ideal candidate will have:
· Experience in whānau assessment, goal setting and planning
· Strong adaptable communication skills to be able to connect with a diverse range of individuals and groups
· An in-depth understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ao Māori to support equitable outcomes for all people
· Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships based on manaakitanga and whānaungatanga
· Leads a healthy lifestyle
· Proven computer skills including data entry and analysis techniques

Rangatahi Transitional Tautoko Kaimahi (20 hours per week)
We are looking for a Rangatahi Transitional tautoko kaimahi with a focus on supporting rangatahi, commencing as soon as possible.
The primary focus of this role is to provide a range of supports to Rangatahi between the ages of 14 - 19 to assist them to successfully transition from Oranga Tamariki care to independence.
Other key components of the role are:
· Identify areas of support
· Assist Rangatahi to set goals and develop an individualised plan
· Support rangatahi to form positive relationships with whānau and community agencies
· Support rangatahi to understand employment processes and supporting them through to the interview phase
The ideal candidate will have:
· Experience and affinity with supporting rangatahi to achieve their dreams and aspirations
· Experience in rangatahi/whanau assessment, goal setting and planning
· Strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills
· Proven computer skills including data entry and analysis techniques
· Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
· Knowledge of the local Māori and wider community
