Whānau/Family Services.

Our social service is whānau led and tailored to meet the individual needs of each whānau.
(For whānau who have Tamariki/Rangatahi under the age of 18)

We have qualified social workers who are empathetic, supportive and skilled in a variety of areas. We will visit you in the comfort of your own home or an alternative environment of your choice, to discuss your needs, assist you to identify your goals and develop a plan to achieve positive outcomes.

We will continue to support you during your journey including advocating and assisting you to access specialised services if required to achieve your goals.

We’ll support you with the following:

  • Financial pressures (access to Financial Mentoring)

  • Parenting Education –  one to one  (see Te Ara Tika O Ngā Whānau Parenting Programme below)

  • Relationship issues or relationships between parent(s) and children

  • Family violence and abuse

  • Coping with stress and pressure

  • Coping with alcohol, drugs and addiction within the whānau

  • Cultural issues – addictions within the whanau

  • Household management

Te Ara Tiki O Ngā Whānau/
Parenting Programme.

Te Ara Tiki O Ngā Whānau programme is delivered on a one to one basis in the home and in a group setting. It is specifically designed to address the particular issues that you may need support with. 

It is a fun and interactive programme suitable for parents who have Tamariki/Rangatahi under the age of 18.

Whānau Ora Navigation

Whānau Ora is designed to support whānau to reach thier moemoa - hopes, dream and wishes on one to one basis in the home or as a whānau. It is specifically designed to address the particular issues that you may need support with and putting whānau at the core of every decision.
